Adrienne Pisoni, LMSW
I specialize in working with college students in my practice and completed a fellowship at Harvard University in college mental health.
Though I am skilled in a wide variety of concerns, I have a special interest in working with people when they are facing major decisions and changes in their lives, whether in a relationship or career choice.
Other areas of my interest and expertise include:
Relationship Concerns (both in individual and couples therapy)
Performance Anxiety (public speaking, creative arts, leadership, etc.)
Women's Issues (pregnancy/post-partum)
- Parenting concerns
As a graduate of the musical theatre program at U-M, I have a special interest in working with students majoring in creative arts, as I understand the unique concerns and demands of these fields.
My therapeutic style is warm and interactive, and I often use humor to put clients at ease. I utilize a variety of interventions including CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic theory. I feel privileged to work with every client and understand the decision to enter therapy takes courage.
** Please note that I am an approved out-of-network provider for AETNA, so am only able to bill AETNA plans for students who have out-of-network benefits for behavioral health.
