I am no longer in clinical practice. I provide psychotherapy teaching, supervision, and consultation, and consult regarding the intersections of meditation, psychotherapy and buddhist psychology. I promote mindfulness-informed psychiatry and psychotherapy, and psychoanalytically informed mindfulness interventions. My aim is to help clinicians and meditation teachers listen carefully, help students and patients clarify their concerns, wishes, and problems, and to help clinicians collaboratively work with their patients and provide a stable, caring and committed therapeutic relationship. I consider meditation and medication and other interventions tools to facilitate growth and wellness.
